CAD Operator/Draftman

The successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities include activities related to program CAD Operator/Draftsman such as:

Basic Qualification:

·        Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering.

·        Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.

·        Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.

·        Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECN/ECR documentation.

·        May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.

·        Prepare and log engineering drawings (process spec and tooling drawings)

·        An Active TS/SCI security clearance.

·        High School Diploma/GED and five (5) to six (6) years of relevant experience.

·        Familiar with MAC OS Systems and experience operating AutoCAD 2021 and 2022

·        Experience revising drawings based on instructions from engineers or architects.

·        Experience Microsoft tools such as excel.

·        Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and geometric dimensioning tolerance (GD&T), Wide Diagrams, flow plans, network diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Graduate from an accredited technical trade-craft school is highly preferred.

·        CompTIA certifications such as Network+, A+ or security+ is highly desired.

·         Experience with SolidWorks.
