System Designer

Wargaming Prague is looking for a Business Analyst / System Designer to join our design team and help us with developing and improving World of Tanks PC web infrastructure.
As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing various complex web and client features. The main objective of this role is to determine feature scope and requirements, find dependencies across projects with a rich legacy, prepare documentation and communicate it to the whole team. The role supposes close interaction with all other disciplines and departments.

What will you do?

• Identify stakeholders and degree of their influence on the feature.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (incl. Marketing, Publishing, Legal and Platform teams) to form and clarify goals, objectives and vision of a feature as well as high-level requirements.
• Collaborate with the feature team, with specialists from other teams (incl. Marketing, Publishing, Legal, Analytics, Art and Platform teams) to form scope, tasks and roadmap of the feature.
• Collaborate with the feature team, with specialists from other teams to gather and analyze requirements and feature dependencies.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement, considering both technical and business aspects.
• Prepare feature artifacts and detailed specifications in clear and transparent manner, approve these documents with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams and other specialists involved into the development, deliver and maintenance to consult them and to ensure the implementation of the feature aligns with the initial requirements and keep them up to date.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a shared understanding of feature requirements, keeping them up to date.
• Together with other colleagues continuously monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of implemented features, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancements or modifications. Provide the results to key stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in business analysis/system design.
• Technical specifications writing skills.
• Strong English skills: writing, speaking and presenting.
• Knowledge of the life cycle of the project/product
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into clear and actionable specifications.
• Excellent communication skills (you'll need to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels)
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of building and architecture of information systems
• Theoretical knowledge of business/system analysis and modern practices of working with requirements
• Interest in developing industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system design and analysis and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the product team.
