Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Windows VMware & Azure SME

Responsibilities

Good Hands-on understanding of Cloud Infrastructure – Network, Storage, AD and Compute (Azure and AWS)

Perform Migrations from Azure to Azure and migrations from on-prem to Azure.

Define migration paths - migrate Apps with PaaS services from one Azure subscription to another one

Understand and apply the migration paths

Attend regularly sync ups with APAC team

Execute the migrations to the cloud landing zone operated by Capgemini with the agreed migration paths

Provide hands-on experience in the Cloud Well Architect Framework to support overall Operations and Governance initiatives.

Ensure compliance with best security practices and continuously assess potential vulnerabilities.

Partner with Engineering, L3 teams and DevOps on CICD and automated deployment.

Identify key procedures that can be automated and either automate them or work with the platform engineering team to develop automation.

Provide cloud management services such as strategy, approaches, best practices, and procedures across the organization.

Establish, report, and improve various metrics associated with the performance, security, and optimization of cloud environments.

Must have L3 support experience in Windows Infrastructure, Windows Server, Citrix, Nutanix & VMware experience

Understanding ESXi Architecture and Its Installation

Virtual Machine Files and Snapshot Working

VMware Tools Installation

vCenter Server Appliance Installation and Configuration

VM deployment using Clone, Templates, OVF

vSphere Content Library

vSphere Networking Basics and Its Architecture

vSphere Networking Policies and Its Implementation

Virtual Storage and VMFS Fundamentals

VMware vMotion, sVMotion

Sphere High Availability and vSphere DRS

vSphere Update Manager, Alarms, Tasks and Events

Good Experience in vSphere Troubleshooting

Windows operating system support

Citrix Technologies (Xenapp/XenDesktop/Netscaler)

Troubleshooting VDA registration Issues

Knowledge on app layering and Netscaler.

PVS build knowledge

Profile Management solution like UPM

VDI Knowledge and hands on.

Microsoft Server Operating Systems, in particular Windows 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016

Providing technical input to Major Incident recoveries.

Owning and taking actions to resolve Problems.

Modifying user profile configurations and GPO to fix issues and add new functionality

Also hands one experience on SCCM client troubleshooting

Need experience on Veeam backup/restore solution

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Communication & Language skills.
• Leadership/Team Handling experience.
• Customer Focus.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$60,000to $75,000].The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
