The company Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and provides the nationwide technical infrastructure of the group. Around 19,000 employees at DT Technik plan, design, build and operate the facilities and systems of the technical infrastructure nationwide on behalf of Telekom Deutschland GmbH. The company implements network projects, operates the network technology and, if necessary, takes over the maintenance of the technical infrastructure. 
The Tribe Voice & Messaging is responsible for the design, development, planning, validation and operation of all voice and messaging platforms in DT Technik's fixed and mobile network over their entire lifecycle. We provide innovative, reliable state-of-the-art services to our cellular- and landline-based customers. 
The scope of a current program is to bring voice & messaging applications into the cloud. We’ll change the today’s model of separated fixed and mobile systems and merge them. That’s why we want you on our team. 

Activity description and concrete tasks:

• You will support project teams in the integration and validation of  software of voice services. 
• Additionally you will support in development, quality assurance and planning as well as implementation of product releases
• You will design further automations of services, processes and/or operating models, you will carry out performance analyses and tunings as well as error analysis and fixes
• You will support the automation of deployments in all environments
• You will provide a project-specific infrastructure and tool suite for integration and delivery, and administer these

Tools & Platforms:

• GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Test Automation using Python/ behave or Ruby/Cucumber, Simulap (JMeter), ELK, Grafana, Wireshark, Tracing tools

Must have skills:

• Basic IMS knowledge with relevant communication protocols (e.g. SIP and RTP) and Telecommunications Industry experience
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools (e.g. Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Test Automation using Python/ behave or Ruby/Cucumber, ELK, Grafana etc.), Simulap (JMeter), ELK, Grafana, Wireshark, Tracing tools
•  From 2 to 5 years of experience in information technolgy, preferably in a telecoms environment
• Good conversational English skills

Nice to have skills:

•  Understanding German would be helpful (optional)
• Knowledge in agile development methods (like Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
•  Detailed knowledge of the market, technology and competitive environment in the information technology and telecommunications industry, including digital transformation
