Sr. Product Marketing Manager

As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Tackle, you’ll help us write (literally) Tackle’s next chapter. We need customer-centric thinkers who can respond to complex business challenges with elegant ways to articulate how we solve them. We'd like to talk to you if you know how the hyper-scalers go to market. If you’ve supported integrations with Cloud Providers and dipped your toes in partner marketing, we’d love to chat! If you read the 2023 Tackle State of Cloud GTM Report each night before bed, obviously, please reach out.


The really fun part? You’ll get to work with *everyone* in the company. Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success will all collaborate with you to drive product adoption and ensure alignment of our product story. You’ll report to our VP of Marketing and join a very fun, creative, and agile marketing team. Seriously, you will enjoy our marketing team Slack channel. 



What You'll Do:
  • Bring a passion for category creation and continuous marketing message iteration to help Tackle continue its category-creating leadership.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing leadership to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our buyer and user personas.
  • Plan and execute product and feature launches, utilizing multi-channel communication to inform customers of these announcements and drive them to adopt new features.
  • Contribute product and market expertise to content development across various platforms for Tackle (blogs, videos, website content, webinars, newsletters, etc.)
  • Partner with our GTM Enablement team to deliver successful product enablement programs and training, including assets such as sales decks, product datasheets, case studies, and ROI benefits.
  • Deeply understand the current competitive landscape—stay on top of competitive moves and create tools to support go-to-market understanding.
  • Bring customer insights to internal stakeholders by speaking with customers directly to understand how they use the Tackle Platform and what we could build to delight them.
  • Share a deep customer understanding of and love for data that will help Tackle build and refine the AI models we use to help our customers be successful with their Cloud GTM efforts.


You Should Have:
  • 5+ years experience in product marketing for SaaS products
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to turn complex data, technology, and concepts into clear communications
  • An understanding of the Cloud Providers (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud) business models and service offerings and experience working with them is highly desirable. 
  • Salesforce too!
  • A customer-centric lens on communicating product value, benefits, and features in a simple way to customers
  • Growth mindset: comfortable with undefined processes and experimentation; excited to work on new initiatives and “trying stuff” that fuels growth 
  • The ability to execute with solid project management, prioritization, and influence skills
  • Confidence in and a love for collaborating cross-functionally
  • The desire to join a world-class marketing team!


$126,400 - $173,800 a year
The salary information shown is a general guideline only. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon multiple factors including local currency, knowledge, skillset, experience and internal equity.

The Hiring Process:

 We have a transparent and streamlined hiring process that can typically be completed in one to two weeks: 

• Phone screen

• 3 additional video chat interviews (on occasion there may be opportunities for in-person interviews)

• Some positions may require a take home test or additional steps throughout the process (this will be communicated to the candidate)
