Python Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

Join our Integrations team as a Back-end Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in the development of our decisioning products at Taktile. If you thrive in building cutting-edge software solutions, have a background in Python and AWS, and cherish working in a collaborative team that fosters professional growth, this position is perfect for you.

Location 
Taktile is a hybrid company with options to work from our Berlin HQ in Germany or the Iasi Hub in Romania.

Language 
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication.

What You'll Do

  • Design and connect our Integrations API with new service providers and products.

  • Architect and implement robust API interfaces.

  • Thoroughly document API endpoints, including expected behavior and integration processes.

  • Proactively monitor integrations to ensure optimized performance and swiftly address any operational issues.

  • Provide ongoing technical support to meet our stakeholders' needs.

  • Enhance the functionality of existing integrations to elevate customer experience (CX).

  • Lead projects from conception through to execution, including ideation, technical design, development, automated testing, release, and production operations.

  • Engage actively in team rituals such as planning sessions, demos, and technical deep-dive discussions.

Ideal, But Not Required

  • Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures.

  • Familiarity with FastAPI.

  • DynamoDB/Postgres/Pydantic/AWS Lambda/SQLAlchemy.

  • Knowledge of React and TypeScript.

Required Experience

  • Experience in Python development.

  • Proficient in RESTful API development and management.
