Our leading communications Tech client is looking for an HR Data Analyst/Sr. Data Analyst, to join their People Teams to work on projects having to do with HR trends, patterns, retention, attrition, etc… Must have HR experience in data science and must be familiar with HR lingo/domains.
Job Duties:

HR Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of HR datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving talent acquisition, retention, and overall HR processes.

Tableau Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key HR performance metrics and insights.

SQL Database Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze HR-related data from relational databases efficiently.

Data Visualization: Create visually engaging and informative data visualizations using Tableau, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the representation of HR-related information.

Data Integration: Gather HR data from multiple sources, cleanse and transform it, and ensure seamless integration into Tableau for comprehensive reporting.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and health of Tableau dashboards, optimizing their efficiency and responsiveness for HR stakeholders.

HR Metrics and KPIs: Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, translating them into actionable insights.

Data Validation: Validate the accuracy and consistency of HR data sources and reports to ensure data integrity across all HR analytics outputs.

Collaboration: Work closely with HR and talent acquisition teams to understand their reporting needs, provide HR-related insights, and deliver solutions that align with HR requirements.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of HR data analysis, dashboard designs, and SQL scripts for reference and knowledge sharing.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in HR analytics and data visualization, proactively applying them to enhance the organization's talent strategy.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, HR Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Tableau, including creating calculated fields, parameters, sets, and interactive dashboards.

Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with database querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization.

HR Experience: Previous experience in HR analytics, talent acquisition, or HR operations is highly desirable.

Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex HR data into actionable insights.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical HR stakeholders effectively.
