Talent Management Associate

The Team:


The Talent Development team is responsible for the design, development and delivery of key programs and initiatives that advance the company’s performance and strengthen its overall culture. This team ensures company-wide talent development strategies are integrated, such as performance feedback, career growth planning, talent planning, plus manager and leadership development, to engage and retain talent and meet current and future business needs. Cross-functionally, this team partners closely with key stakeholders across the business and within the People team to drive and sustain the talent development strategies needed to unlock the potential of all employees.

 

The Opportunity:


Datadog is looking for a Talent Management Associate to support the launch and delivery of global talent and performance management initiatives. This person will play a key role in supporting the launch of Datadog’s first global performance feedback program and will be integral in future launches. In addition to performance feedback, this person will also assist in the creation, delivery and change management efforts of other talent management programs by coordinating and communicating with Datadog’s employees and leaders around the globe. 

As the second member of our Talent Management team, you will have the opportunity to impact Datadogs at every level. You will work cross-functionally in supporting our global business by delivering high-impact initiatives. With an eye on scalability, you will work closely with our People Business Partners to manage program outcomes and ensure efficiencies at scale. The successful candidate will have a passion for employee growth and development and will be eager to introduce new practices into a leading global tech company. 

 

You Will: 


  • Oversee and execute performance feedback in Workday, including launching cycles, fielding inbound questions and answering nontechnical performance feedback inquiries.
  • Maintain performance forms in Workday and explore new opportunities to optimize user experience of the tool for future cycles based on feedback from the organization. 
  • Partner with our Workday team in gathering design requirements and planning for design and testing. 
  • Coordinate scheduling and tracking of talent management initiatives, including overseeing communications and actively tracking attendance and completion rates. 
  • Maintain training materials, tools and resources and ensure consistency across all talent development offerings. 
  • Proactively investigate and analyze program efficiencies and recommend solutions. 
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to design and build global performance management training opportunities for employees, managers and leaders.
  • Seek opportunities to generate a buzz around talent development initiatives and further integrate our programs into the business. 

 

You Are:


  • 4+ years of professional experience in HR, Talent Development, Performance Management, Management Consulting or a related field
  • 1-2 years executing full performance cycles from start to finish 
  • Experience with Workday Talent and Performance is preferred
  • Sharp attention to detail 
  • Program management a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals across all levels, departments, and geographies
  • Bonus points for an advanced degree in Change Management, Organizational Development, HR, I/O Psychology, or other related field
