Your primary goal will be to ensure that these relationships are engaged, profitable, and long-lasting.• **This role will require regular travel within the Bay Area. Reporting to the Head of Account Management, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across a portfolio of named accounts. To excel in this role, you must have strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with experience in Account Management, Business Development, and/or Customer Success within the healthcare or mental health industries. You are a proactive problem-solver and strategic thinker, known for your ability to listen, communicate, and adapt in dynamic environments. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment. 60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome. With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.You will:Serve as the long-term relationship manager focused on increasing engagement, new patient growth and provider retentionProactively communicate with partners to build trust and set appropriate expectationsCollaborate with Talkiatry’s Strategic Partnerships team to ensure a seamless transition to Account Management while identifying growth opportunities within assigned territoryAct as the liaison between referral partners and internal teamsEngage with mid-level operational leads, referral coordinators, staff, and doctors to understand and meet their needsCoordinate and lead virtual and in-person trainings for doctors and staff members to educate on Talkiatry services and establish referral workflowsEnsure partners have up-to-date information on our services and processes to grow referrals and boost conversion to new patient appointmentsManage issue resolution, escalations, and problem-solving to maintain strong partnerships and build trustWork cross-functionally to improve the partner experiencePrepare and present regular partnership performance reports and forecasts, both internally and externallyExpand existing partnerships by providing tailored solutions to meet their objectivesAttend conferences and networking events in your market to build brand awareness and establish relationshipsYou have:Must be based in Northern California4+ years’ experience in a healthcare business development or account management roleMental Health experience a plusAbility to travel within your assigned territory for in-person meetings (~75% of the time).
