Sales Operations Specialist

Location - Remote (USA based only)

Salary - $60,000 - $70,000

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will help progressive organizations, Democratic campaigns, and other clients get the data and tools they need to have a positive impact. Your primary responsibilities will include helping prospective and current clients purchase TargetSmart’s products and services, conducting market research, supporting marketing efforts, and playing an essential role in the overall day-to-day sales and marketing operations of TargetSmart.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responding to incoming sales inquiries in a timely and effective manner
  • Conducting market research and compiling lists of prospective clients for sales and marketing efforts
  • Initiating outreach to prospective clients about TargetSmart’s products and services
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the company’s Salesforce database
  • Supporting product launches with content and research
  • Conducting analysis of sales metrics for internal tracking
  • Working across company teams to ensure successful sales and marketing program implementation

  • Work experience in a sales, customer service, fundraising, or marketing role
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems requiring quick turnaround times
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and see them through to completion
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new systems and using new technology 

 

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience working with political data (i.e.- voter files, donor lists, membership lists, etc.)
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRMs
