Your Role on Our Team:

The Team Lead 1 is responsible for following procedures for product quality audit, equipment operation and safety standards as required.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Assign personnel to workstations and ensure personnel are rotating according to schedule to maintain proficiency (40%)
Ensure cell paperwork is being maintained and accurate (reject log, quality log, scrap tickets and stock tickets) (40%)
Troubleshoot and repair tools (30%)
Verify all team members are using PPE (ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, shoes) (40%)
Provide PPE to team members as needed (30%)
Position team members at start of shift to maintain adequate hourly/daily output to standard work and line balance (40%)
Verify correct OMS are in place for current production and prior to changeovers (30%)
Train team members as needed (30%)
Identify and resolve conflict with team (30%)
Work closely with Facilitator on team tasks (20%)
Work with material and assembly teams to ensure smooth, trouble-free changeovers (20%)
Work with engineer support on any suggestions, improvements or issues that will improve output (20%)
Fill in for team members when they need to leave the production line (20%)
Work with Quality Team on any potential or current quality issues that arise (20%)
Adhere to all safety requirements in the department (10%)
Practice and maintain 5Ss (5%)
Maintain Positive Attitude and Teamwork
Make use of time wisely, go to breaks & return on time, extended restroom breaks
Must adhere to attendance policy
Responsible for Morning meetings
Monitor shift start up exercise, all team members participate

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and OMS
Basic math skills
Computer proficiency
Working knowledge of all assembly elements
Perform line set up
Perform quality inspections on test equipment
Leadership skills
Ability to learn quickly
High school diploma or equivalent
