Team Lead, Security Engineering - Identity & Access Management

The team: 

As a team lead of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will build the team to own centralized identity and manage identity for internal, external and service identities.

The opportunity: 

You will work with engineering teams to define a strategy for centralized identity management across many of Datadog’s internal applications and platforms. The decisions you make will have a significant impact on Datadog’s security posture.

We're looking for engineers with strong experience with authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA), identity, and backgrounds in modern access control and auditing technologies. This includes public cloud infrastructure and container runtimes.

You will:

•  Lead an engineering team to develop platforms and systems to support IAM
•  Deploy role-based access control (RBAC) into environments
•  Streamline implementing authentication/authorization through services and libraries
•  Define and implement a consistent pattern for definition of access controls
•  Manage the single source of identity
•  Define and implement migration paths for existing services

Requirements:

•  Experience designing and implementing role-based authentication control (RBAC)
•  Experience with cloud identity management
•  Experience with Google Workspace
•  High level of situational and operational awareness
•  Strong interest in security
•  Can provide examples of the ability to solve difficult problems with engineering
•  Experience in core project languages (Golang / Python / Ruby)

•  Creating complete identity solutions across multiple platforms/products
•  Experience with Hashicorp Vault
•  Experience with container runtime identity management
