Job Summary
The Social Media Marketing Specialist will support the Growth Marketing Department in implementing and analyzing social media and PR strategies. This role involves managing brand engagement, tracking media placements, and assisting with communication strategies for various brand units.Key Responsibilities:Social Media Management:• Review and analyze monthly social media metrics for accuracy.• Provide initial reviews of content calendars, engage daily with each brand’s social media, and encourage audience interactions.• Oversee community interactions, including managing messages, blocking/reporting spam, and archiving as needed.Public Relations Support:• Track and manage PR placements, update PR strategists on new placements, and maintain the PR placement library.• Track backlinks generated from PR efforts to measure engagement and reach.Project Management & Client Service:• Assist with onboarding and ongoing support for strategists and smaller brand clients.• Manage brand-specific tasks once familiar with the role, including supporting PR tasks and documenting processes to demonstrate the PR strategy’s value.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications• 2+ years of experience managing corporate social media platforms.• Background in PR and media relations.• Familiarity with social media analytics tools.Thanks
