MX is looking for a level 2 technical support specialist to add to our support team. The level 2 position fills an important role in support. The level 2 will be responsible for the resolution of highly complex customer issues on more advanced topics such as APIs, integrations, etc. They are responsible for developing or contributing to highly technical documentation. They will answer questions for the team, and mentor and develop the individual capacity of team members. Also, level 2’s will cover any and all additionally assigned tasks or duties.
A level 2 needs to be able to manage their time and workload effectively. They are a leader on the team. They will bring more advanced technical knowledge and expertise to the team.
Job Duties
Address the more technical questions of our clients and customers
Monitor and work out of our ticket and chat queues and watch for trending issues
May be assigned to work with specific fintechs, FI’s, or Partners
Monitor communication channels to look for ways to assist team members
Work to increase the technical knowledge of the team
Work on self determined and approved projects as well as assigned projects
Develop great mentoring relationships with support team members
Drive growth with and help develop the potential of each team member
Job Requirements
2+ years technical support experience preferred
Experience troubleshooting API’s required
Experience troubleshooting computers and mobile devices
Development experience preferred
Ability to manage time and workload effectively
Great written communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to think through and solve technical challenges
Willingness to always learn and improve, plus an independent way of working

Compensation
The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $19.50 to $20.75.
This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
