Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Camp Administrator/Maintenance Planner for our Middle River, Maryland program office location.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

General Description:

  • Provide CAMP database administration in CONUS-based operations center for deployed maintenance operations of Bombardier BD-700 Global Express (USAF E-11A) aircraft.
  • Ensure CAMP database accurately manages Bombardier BD-700 aircraft Equalized Maintenance Program (EMP) /Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) within zero error tolerances.
  • Work closely with deployed aircraft maintenance leads and site director in management of recommended aircraft maintenance schedules and compliance.
  • Work closely with OCONUS/CONUS maintenance personnel to ensure all required maintenance data is captured CAMP database.
  • Analyze database, extract information, and produce database metrics daily, weekly, monthly to meet established reporting requirements. (i.e., aircraft Duelist reporting)
  • Planning of aircraft maintenance to determine when work is due in the short, medium, and long term. Generation of the Duelist Reports and offsite maintenance reports.
  • Interface with CAMP Program Analyst vendor (Wichita) to troubleshoot system problems.
  • Provide updates of aircraft times and cycles to aircraft as flight entries arrive.
  • Work with CAMP Analyst to resolve CAMP user issues. Such as password resets, access to certain functions of CAMP, account setup for new user access, and general questions.
  • Work with CAMP Analyst for issues on aircraft tasks. Such as creating new tasks, combining tasks into packages, task alignment, loading of new maintenance programs and revisions, etc.
  • Resolution of concerns/questions from NG customer (USAF) with any CAMP issues.

In addition, the Camp Administrator will augment the CONUS Maintenance Control team and Engine Maintenance Planner to include:

  • Information flow between CORRIDOR & CAMP Aviation Maintenance Programs.
  • Process all log entries received from all Site Maintenance locations (NG offsites, BBD, RRD, etc.). This will include reviewing log entries for accuracy, sending entries to CAMP for uploading, and printing entries for review and processing by the Maintenance Controllers.
  • Review all MX log entries received for accuracy to compare with the WO before final closure.
  • Review all Corridor work orders for accuracy before final closure.
  • Interface with NG customer (USAF) with any CAMP issues and questions.
  • As operations center is a 24/7 facility, may require occasional support outside normal work hours.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate to be considered
  • Three (3) years’ experience in CAMP in aircraft maintenance operations
  • Current DoD SECRET Clearance or ability to obtain clearance
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Must have clear communication skills, a sound knowledge of aviation maintenance and workflow processes, knowledge of data management, and strong technology skills.

Preferred Quaificationsl:

  • CAMP Systems Power user/instructor
  • BD-700 Global Express (USAF E-11A) CAMP experience
  • CORRIDOR Aviation Service Software experience
  • Civilian/military Customer Response Center/Cell experience


Salary Range: $33 USD - $33 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
