Description:• The Case Manager role is responsible for assisting the migrant program, utility assistance, and Christmas program.• Program serves immigrants who cross over Mexico into Texas• See if they are eligible for the services• Will need to check in, see how everything is going, create an exit plan• Provides intake, screening, and direct case management services to clients.• Completes documentation and case noting to meet standards, and grant and donor reporting requirements.• Enters data into agency database, and spreadsheets and coordinates, tracks, and reports activities and outcomes for services provided through the program.• Coordinates travel arrangements, including bus and airfare for clients to connect with their sponsors.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Case management experience 2+ yearsNeeds to be bilingual (read, write, and speak)Ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse cultures and ethnicities.Computer literate and experienced with MS Office suite of products.Strong organizational and time management skills are required.A four-year degree in social work or a related field of study is preferred but may be substituted by significant relevant case management experienceSchedule:Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM
