Oracle Database Administrator - job 1 of 2

Description:• ** Hybrid remote - 2 days onsite**· This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)· Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is requiredDescription:Provide Oracle database and Oracle WebLogic support running on Solaris and UNIX.Provide temporary administrative support of existing Oracle standalone (11g and 12c) database environments.Install and configure Oracle on Linux, with possible future installation on Windows servers.Migration of existing 11g/12c databases to Oracle 19c, then provide support to migrated 19c databases.Apply quarterly updates and patches to Oracle instances.Provide on-call support for applications as requested.Research and analyze emerging Oracle database technologies, techniques, and protocols.Provide ongoing progress to leadership, system owners, and peers regarding health of the various Oracle environments.Requirements:Basic monitoring and tuning using Oracle Enterprise Manager and other utilities.Assure the performance of an Oracle database.Backing up and recovering databases, using RMAN and data pumpEnsure continuity and availability of the database.
