PARALEGAL (REMOTE - CT/EST)• Contract to hire*Benefits of this Role:• Exposure – The legal team works hand in hand with their parent company, a leader in integrated healthcare, pharmacy and retail!• Work/life balance – No weekend work or late nights!• Remote Login – Work from the comfort of your home• Extensive Training - Virtual training including upskilling in programs as needed• Competitive Benefits – once permanent, Full range of benefits including Health, Dental and Vision with HSA, Profit Sharing, generous PTO, 401K Savings Plan, Paid Parental Leave, free on-demand Virtual Fitness Training and more.Core Experience:• Minimum 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience• Corporate legal team experience preferred• Paralegal Certification• Experience reviewing and drafting up legal documents, negotiations, litigation, etc.• Must have the ability to interact with all levels (from associates to SR executives).• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office Suite• Healtcare experience a PLUS!A Day in the Role:Supporting 4 attorneys• Draft legal documents and correspondence related to complaints and investigations, gather discovery, prepare legal/litigation hold notices, manage collection of large volume of documents, track and prepare reports on status of matters, manage databases and prepare responses for filings.• Conduct legal research (discovery, investigating facts) and initial interviews with internal stakeholders under attorney guidance and direction.• Coordinate correspondence, schedule meetings, update and maintain company documents as needed.• Organizes, maintains & edits files, reports, records and presentations for leadership to communicate to internal customers.• Draft and send written correspondence including e-mails and reply letters to internal and external stakeholders.• Process and record all executed Agreements and documents received by the Legal Department to include, but not limited to, Contracts, Amendments, Renewals, Letter• Agreements, BAAs, Consulting Agreements, Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality• Agreements, Vendor Agreements.• Participates in the planning and coordination of department meetings and company functions,• including, but not limited to, setting-up conference calls and Webex meetings,• coordinating and reserving meeting/conference rooms, ordering or copying materials, and ordering food and beverages.• Maintain and draft SOPs, DLPs, Checklists, and Templates.Work Environment:• Remote - Equipment provided!• Hours: 40 Hours per week, 8:00AM-4:30PM (EST)For questions, please feel free to contact us:About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
