SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER - US PARKS

Description:TEKsystems is seeking for an experienced Project / Service Delivery Manager who can assist and lead a variety of tasks in the Technology & Digital Operations fulfillment department. This organization needs someone who can take charge of a team and deliver results that will make the organization more efficient and profitable. They will support talented engineers who need functional support.Responsibilities:• Assign and prioritize work tasks for 10-15 systems engineering resources and tracking progress in order to maximize productivity and minimize lost capacity due to roadblocks.• Partner closely with application teams to help prioritize tasks and remove any roadblocks that might be preventing work from being completed in all environments.• Identify trends in work progress, roadblocks, etc. and recommend process improvements to leadership to help maximize productivity and minimize issues.• Review JIRA work tasks as they come in to ensure they have all relevant information and are assigned appropriate story points.• Create/update dashboarding and reporting to demonstrate team productivity and changes to work backlog.• Maintain a team member onboarding process & assist in executing onboarding tasks as needed.• Support SSL Certificate Renewal processes and tools across on-prem and cloud infrastructure for multiple applications.• Provide vendor oversight and status reporting for onshore/offshore teams of 20+ resources.• Establish and improve tools and processes, related to On-Prem and Cloud environments including AWS, Linux, Akamai, F5, Terraform, SSL Certificates etc.Skills:Service delivery, Management skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required Soft Skills (absolutely must have):• Customer Service: As a service delivery manager, you’ll interact with customers and resolve their issues. Practice empathy to better understand their needs.• Communication: Effective communication is crucial. You’ll engage with various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical colleagues. Clear communication and active listening are key.• Leadership: Guide your team toward productive outcomes. Develop leadership skills to inspire and motivate your team members.• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with others. Being a good team player, actively listening, and contributing constructively are essential.• Critical Thinking: Engage in reflective and independent thinking.
