Technical Support Technician

Description:• The candidate must have at least five years field experience as an alarm technician, have technical knowledge, and have understanding of downloading and providing technical support to technicians in the field.• Must have knowledge of multiple systems i.e. Honeywell, Ademco, Napco, DSC, Silent Knight, Firelite, Notifier, DMP etc.• Should have the ability to upsell on the phone with current customers while assisting during technical assistance.• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support for security systems via phone, email, or chat.• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to burglar alarms, access control systems, and other security devices.• Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including CCTV, intrusion alarms, and access control hardware.• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on security equipment.• Document technical processes and create user manuals for security systems.• Assist in the roll-out of new security applications and updates.• Provide training and support to end-users on security technologies.• Maintain confidentiality of client information and company data.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
