We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join a long-term, full-time contract role for one of the largest Media & Entertainment companies in the world!This group is focused on building internal applications/tools with the same level of visual quality & usability as consumer-facing applications. Therefore, internal enterprise tools design experience is a MUST for this role.As an end-to-end experience UX/UI Designer you will be embedded in several agile development teams running in parallel, working closely with product managers, software engineers, stakeholders and users of the application. You may have the opportunity to provide design guidance to other design resources who are assigned to one or more agile development teams running in parallel.Requirements• 3-5 years of UX Design experience with a deep understanding of user-centered design methods• Portfolio with in-depth case studies focused in internal tools, dashboarding, data visualization, and design systems all with strong UI execution• Case studies must show work in all stages: sketches, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, usability testing results, personas, task flows, etc.• Experience with Figma• Strong collaborative mindset - team-first mentality, eagerness to foster design cultureAdditional Skills & Qualifications• Must have experience working as a UX/UI Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer (or closely related field) in the design of heavily transactional web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.• Experience working within Ad Tech or Ad Platforms a plus.• Experience working for a large technology or media company is a plus.• Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and usability principles.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent facilitation skills and ability to effectively lead whiteboard design sessions.• Effective negotiator, enthusiastic team player, and able to resolve conflicts.• Attentive to details while successfully juggling multiple assignments and competing priorities.• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools. Axure is a plus.• Solid understanding of the technical implications of your designs. Knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus.• Knowledge of user research methods, including lab-based usability studies, field studies, and usability inspections (heuristic evaluations or cognitive walkthroughs).• A hearty thirst and enthusiasm for UX knowledge, trends, sharing and banter.The Role• This is for a full-time (40-hour/week) contract role. 12-months with possibility to extend.• 100% Remote -- ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN UNITED STATES.• Must be eligible to work in the United States on a W-2About TEKsystemsWe're partners in transformation.
