Temporary AmeriCorps Operations Support Staff

Northern Kentucky University welcomes applications for Temporary AmeriCorps Operations Support Staff.

This position is short term approximately 2 to 3 months (January – March 2023) and 10 to 15 hours per week.

This position may be completed virtually.

Primary Responsibilities

The AmeriCorps Operations Support role will:

Complete the onboarding paperwork for new AmeriCorps members

Communicate with AmeriCorps members in all stages of the onboarding process.
Ensure that background checks are completed in compliance with Serve Kentucky guidelines.
Ensure that NKU new hire paperwork is completed by each member.

Keep electronic files updated for all members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
6 years related work experience; 2 years if direct experience enrolling and exiting AmeriCorps members .
Knowledge of AmeriCorps enrollment and exiting processes.
Experience using eGrants.
Understanding of AmeriCorps slots and slot conversions.
Ability to learn quickly.
Attention to detail, staying organized, and meeting deadlines.
