YOUR JOB
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content Planning + Development (60%)
- Support the Director of Social and the Social Content Creator in monthly content planning cycles including sharing relevant trending topics, conversations, and hashtag holidays, participating in tactical planning meetings, and developing working calendars or planning documents
- Assist in the content briefing process or content production process under the direction of the Social Content Creator
- Schedule social content and monitor the content publishing calendar for consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of content, providing recommendations for updates based on shifting trends or current events
- Ensure product tags, collection links, post URLs and link-in-bios are updated and functional as content changes
Community Management (40%)
- Proactively and reactively engage with the Life is Good social community across all platforms and elevate customer service issues to Customer Care as needed, reducing our response time to 8 hours or less
- Identify trending conversations or opportunities for Life is Good to engage “off-channel” and present opportunities to Social Team for consideration
- Facilitate surprise and delight social giveaways inclusive of planning giveaways with the Social Team through prize fulfillment
- Manage the UGC rights approval process, including daily product tagging within FourSixty
Requirements
Your Experience and Qualifications:
- You have 3-5 years of community management experience supporting B2C brands as a freelance social media manager, in-house or at an agency
- You have developed, presented, and executed content or engagement plans to help launch products and tell brand stories
- You have worked with content management, publishing, and measurement tools such as Social Studio, Sprinklr, Khoros, Traackr, Hubspot, Meta Business Suite, or WordPress CMS
- Experience with project management apps such as Asana, Monday or Trello is helpful, but not necessary
- You have helped brands grow their social community and increase their engagement rate as a result of your content or community management
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can deliver ideas and insights succinctly and effectively to many audiences
