Temporary Part Time Hourly Project Specialist (Office of the Provost)

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in the hiring and processing of faculty

Update records in Banner

Track expenditures, goals, etc.

Assist in the compiling of data and reporting of data in Microsoft Excel

Update records in Banner, create requisitions, enter special assignment payments and various types of contracts

Implement, manage, and assess the projects assigned by the Fiscal Affairs Manager and the Faculty Affairs Coordinator

Update and maintain records

Assist in the processing of contracts and paperwork for budget creation

Update Office of the Provost Confluence page as updates become available

Communicate with College staff

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Strong Excel skills, Outlook and Word a plus

• Ability to handle confidential material/issues

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field

• Experience using tracking systems and data entry systems

• This is a part-time, temporary position, for up to twenty (25) hours per week and is not to exceed 944 hours per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)

Pay Rate:

Commensurate with experience
