Job Summary

Temporary summer undergraduate internship in the Laboratory of Dr. Brian Wigdahl.

Essential Functions

• Learn and perform computational programming in python or next generation sequencing technologies.
• Perform cell culture, transfections and transductions or machine learning techniques on HIV sequence.
• Perform daily laboratory experiments as assigned.
• Participate in weekly group research meetings.
• Participate in weekly one-on-one research meetings.
• Keep daily research notes in paper and electronic lab notebooks.
• Perform general laboratory duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma

Physical Demands

• Typically sitting at a desk/table
• Typically standing, walking
