We deliver results that exceed expectations and we win together!Your RoleTenable is looking for a Full-stack Staff Software Engineer to join our UI-based Vulnerability Management Applications development team. Focused on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based, state-of-the art solutions for Vulnerability Management in the ever-evolving landscape of customers’ IT infrastructure in a non-intrusive, scalable way, the Vulnerability Management Applications team enables organizations to address the challenge of understanding and mitigating their cybersecurity risk. As a Staff Software Engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to be part of implementing and maintaining highly scalable, highly reliable cloud-native user interface and underlying microservices which utilize modern technologies and programming languages, as well as maintaining and enhancing the endpoint scanning technologies to support new platforms and expanded capabilities.Your Opportunity• Get in on the ground floor: As part of working on the team, you'll have a broad scope with an opportunity to take on new responsibilities and lead cross-functional projects with global reach. You will have the opportunity to support and mentor your peers inside and outside your team.What You’ll Need• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a directly related field• 7+ years of software development experience, including experience with leading cross-functional projects• Experience developing single-page applications in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript• Experience with React and JavaScript visualization libraries• Experience utilizing Restful API’s• Experience with cloud-native data stores and data processing systems is a plus• Experience with network security systems is a plus• Accountability for the behavior of your software in production• Experience coaching and leading mid-level and junior staff in the design, implementation, and execution of highly technical development projects• Experience in working in an Agile team, and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively within and across product teams• The ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and to lead/drive projects as necessary• The desire to continuously learn and be exposed to new technologies• Have a mindset of let’s get it done and be nimbleThis is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
