What You’ll Do:
- Leverage a deep and broad understanding of the technology landscape and market, and serve as a thought-leader in order to assist in platforms and technology selections and decision-making.
- Draw up technical specifications for custom development and systems integration requirements.
- Participate in architecture design, build schedule, milestone, delivery, and post-project reviews.
- Nurture engineers to think with architecture and design best practices in mind, including aspects such as performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Communicate directly with key stakeholders including prospects, customers, partners, and investors.
- Work day-to-day with the engineers to develop new features for Tenon.
- Assist with customer Tier 1 support issues as they arise.
- Contribute actively to agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, actively participating in the product development lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 6+ years of technology experience, with at least 2 years in an Architect role.
- Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Hands-on experience with React, CSS and HTML.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud (AWS/GCP) and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of marketing automation or CRM solutions is a plus.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong Indianapolis preference
- Outstanding communication and customer relationship skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience in B2B SaaS is ideal.
- ServiceNow CSA, CIS, or CAD certifications are a plus.

Compensation
- $160k - $175k annual salary based on experience
