WHAT YOU WILL DO
This position will involve daily interaction with key client personnel within the client services department. The Account Specialist will need to know and understand the client’s market capabilities and brand strategies, ensuring the client’s objectives and goals are achieved. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful client and to help continue their growth. General Responsibilities:
  • Drive brand awareness and affinity in a select group of key accounts
  • Able to develop customer solutions that translate to commercial wins
  • Motivate and inspire key industry personnel about the brand while fostering relationships and brand support
  • Educate key consumer and trade stakeholders about all aspects of the brand including brand history and heritage and the production/distillation process (brand and category training will be provided upon hire)
  • Develop innovative cocktail solutions that leverage the brand’s individuality and personality
  • Represent the brand at key events, media engagements, and training sessions

    Media Responsibilities:
  • Participate in print/broadcast/online/radio media interviews to generate coverage of the brand via new cocktails, local events, holidays, and any other brand-relevant news
  • Possess the ability to speak in an engaging and persuasive manner
  • Allow usage of name and likeness in the media and promotional materials

    Presentation Experience:
  • Comfortable speaking in front crowds in a captivating, personable, influential, and articulate manner
  • Ability to memorize and deliver presentation scripts in natural and authentic manner
  • Professional and polished appearance
    Administrative & Professional Responsibilities:
  • Internet savvy with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to deliver event recaps, manage KPI (key performance indicator) spreadsheets, and submit expense reports
  • Help organize and self-manage role on market visits and at events
  • Exercise high moral character and social responsibility


WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution preferred, but not required.
  • Formal mixology training and experience
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish at a proficient to fluent level is a plus.
  • Position will be based in the San Diego area.
  • Alcoholic beverage industry background a plus; including legalities, tequila production and industry knowledge, and bar/restaurant management experience.
  • Passionate about mixology including an understanding of trends, innovations, and current events.
  • Experience with sales teams / ability to manage the matrix. If not experienced, must demonstrate potential to learn.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $85K-$90K.
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
