Texas Health Action is seeking a Nurse Manager that is responsible for clinical oversight of our nursing teams within Kind Clinics, Outreach & Testing, This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40 hours a week with some evening and weekend hours.
The ideal candidate for this role maintains effective communication with our nurses, staff and physicians, provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner, and partners closely with each Clinic Manager as to the specific areas of clinical practice required for our licensed nurses..

Based on job duties and requirements, this position is placed in salary band 48 with a starting pay range between $92,00.00-$96,000.00 per year. Initial placement within salary band will be based on hired candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Texas Health Action (THA) is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Nurse Manager to join their remarkable team at Kind Clinic. In this role, you will take charge of providing clinical oversight for our nursing teams, ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest quality of care to the LGBTQIA+ community and those affected by HIV. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with operational managers to ensure our clinics are well-staffed, attending management meetings to streamline care coordination, and leading quality improvement projects that help us meet and exceed clinical standards. We believe in empowerment and professional growth, so you will have the opportunity to mentor our nursing staff, organize team-building activities, and oversee onboarding and training programs. An ideal candidate for this full-time position should possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and have at least 5 years of experience in an outpatient setting, ideally working with diverse populations. We value strong communication skills and the ability to promote conflict resolution while ensuring patient satisfaction. The starting salary for this role ranges from $92,000 to $96,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
