Visit TextronSystems.com & Lycoming.com to read more about who we are and the products we make!About This RoleWe believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:• Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter• Participating in hardware development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab integration and evaluation• Developing imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult Mechanical Engineering problems.• Performing detailed design of mechanical structures and subsystems using solid modeling, requirements analysis, trade studies, mechanical analysis including structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis, and human interface design• Using computer-aided design tools such as Unigraphics/NX, FEA packages, and MatLab• Working cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and products• May lead, guide & direct concept design and the work of others• Other related duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Education/Experiences:• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of related experience, Master’s Degree with 1+ years related experience• Able to obtain/maintain a government secret security clearanceHow We CareAt Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
