Marketing Director
Arlington, Virginia, USA (Hybrid)
Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Marketing Director in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the marketing strategy and executing the marketing plan for the region. You will oversee work on a range marketing activities (customer & market intelligence, value & bid marketing, digital & content marketing, account marketing) in order to support the regions’ focus accounts and business priorities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Lead the design, drafting, execution, and oversight of the implementation of the NORAM annual marketing plan and associated campaigns.
Manage NORAM Marketing Network, including regular cadence of NORAM Marketing Council meetings.
Lead the response effort as it relates to business requests for region-level marketing support.
Provide leadership and support in Marketing efforts in Digital/Content Marketing, Value/Bid Marketing, and Account-Based Marketing .
Market & competitive intelligence: Where practical, act as region-level coordinator and manager of tools, resources, and datasets covering region-level markets targeted by NORAM businesses and the competitors in those markets.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
8 years experience in related functions (strategy , marketing, sales, market research, etc.)
4 years of knowledge, familiarity, and demonstrated experience with 1 or more relevant market segments that Thales operates in:
Demonstrated and proven track record leading teams and the organization with respect to the following:
Translating data and business objectives into marketing objectives and defining engagement tactics based on objectives.
Overall campaign management (targeting, building, launching & reporting).
Creating a metrics-driven marketing mindset with a true sense of initiative, curiosity.
