Responsibilities

As the Event & Marketing Production Manager, your primary objectives will be designing, planning and project managing all facets of event planning for both internal and external events. Internal events would include company and team virtual and physical gatherings. External events would include industry conferences, fans gathering as well as any other physical events to promote our video games.


  • Own programs from conception to execution as the lead event planner, producer, and team leader including design and develop programs/events, research on event ideas, event locations, event design concept, and artistic set up
  • Prepare research findings and ideas and present for discussion with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Manage and handle program budgets independently by liaising with internal finance department and external vendors to identify detailed costing structure for each program/event
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand each of their needs to incorporate into the design of events 
  • Develop a good understanding of event implementation requirements and constraints, including game development schedule, in-game support requirements, game demo support etc.
  • Comfortable with hiring, leading, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, internal and external stakeholders 
  • Project coordinate all the above and build a master plan to align with game development schedule and other business and personnel requirements
  • Organize and conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on progress, next steps and action points including working with owner or champion of each event to ensure all relevant information is communicated to all relevant stakeholders
  • Present to management on event strategy and objectives
  • Research on new trends, industry events to identify relevance to TGC’s business growth
  • Manage event logistics and administrative tasks including liaison with internal and external stakeholders to arrange the most appropriate and cost efficient logistic arrangements. Travel with each team to ensure logistics are being carried out properly at the event location. 

 

Must haves:


  • 8-10 years of work experience in project management and experiential marketing preferably in the entertainment, technology, or , game industry
  • Bachelor degree 
  • A moderate amount of domestic and international travel will be required throughout the year, including nights and weekends (estimated to be around 40-60% of the time)
  • Willingness to work non-traditional event hours and travel for work
  • Proficiency with Google Docs Editors Suite, Microsoft Office suite, and Slack
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for up to or more than 8 hours at a time
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to provide clear and succinct presentation to senior management

 

Nice to haves:


  • Project management certification preferred
  • Experience in working in companies with more than 100 employees
  • Likes working in a fast-pace environment

Salary range: The salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $120,000 USD annually, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the geographical location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, and Company’s compensation practices.
