As an experienced member of the People Management team, you will be part of the Center of Expertise (COE) responsible for Performance Management and Employee Relations. We are looking for a proven self-starter who has solid employee relations experience in this individual contributor role directly reporting to the Director of People Management.Work ModelThis is a full-time position based in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA, offering a hybrid work model that combines 3+ onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow. Please note: Candidate must be willing and able to actively support west coast time zone hours regardless of their own place of residency.What You Will be DoingPartner with and coach managers and employees at all levels to provide objective guidance and advice regarding employment policies, procedures, and employment practices to achieve resolution of complex issues such as misconduct, performance deficiencies, as well as accommodation requests.Conduct effective investigations, including thoughtful conclusions and recommendations; draft and deliver comprehensive reports.Provide expert direction, guidance, and consultation on a wide range of complex employee relations issues.Become a subject matter expert (SME) in our performance evaluation processes; keep up to date on external performance management trends.Develop and provide training on all aspects of goal setting, feedback, performance review preparation, and discussions, to include Workday systems usage.Interpret and research policies and procedures, incorporating knowledge of state and federal employment laws (i.e. ADA, FMLA, EEO) and practices to recommend resolutions.Work closely with management, Strategic People Partners (SPPs), and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Establish credibility and rapport by developing and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with all levels of management and employees regarding all types of employee relation issues (ADA, FMLA, misconduct, time & attendance etc).Develop metrics and analytics reports for executives.Initiate and participate in People Operations special projects.What You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements for Employee Relations Staff IV:BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Sciences, or related disciplineTen or more years experience in Human Resources, including five or more years of direct experience in employee relations which may be included as part of a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role.Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPointExperience with Workday#J-18808-Ljbffr
