Force Account Work P6 Scheduler (Rail/Transit experience)
Location: Secaucus, NJ
Hybrid – 3 days a week in the client office aligned with client and project team schedules. Frequent local travel between client office and project sites in the NJ/NYC area.

We are seeking an experienced Force Account Work Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project scheduling, particularly within the rail and transit industry. This role requires proficiency in Primavera P6, a strong understanding of linear scheduling methods, and the ability to manage complex projects effectively. Experience with force account work and a keen understanding of the unique challenges it presents is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
Implement linear scheduling techniques to optimize project timelines.
Coordinate closely with force account managers and project managers to ensure effective resource allocation and project execution.
Analyze project schedules for potential conflicts, resource constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with project controls standards and procedures.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project reviews and stakeholder meetings.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, labor hours, and material usage to support transparent cost tracking and reporting.
Facilitate communication between the project team, force account workers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project scheduling.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must.
Extensive experience in the rail and transit industry is essential.
Strong understanding of linear scheduling methods.
Demonstrated experience with force account work and the associated logistical and operational challenges.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
