Advisor will conduct routine analysis on guarantee performance and make pharmacy pricing recommendations to management in order to meet the guarantees. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Contributes to the development and improvement of financial analysis and forecasting analytical methodologies. Supports internal cross functional partners by delivering thorough data analyses. Provides detailed pricing analysis in support of contract negotiations. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.Job Responsibilities• Monitoring, adjusting pricing and reporting of pharmacy guarantee performance• Implementing SQL changes to daily Provider Guarantee's query used to track and measure Provider performance• Supporting provider negotiations, financial modeling, and underwriting rate assumptions• Reviewing pharmacy contracts and ensuring that all guarantees are accounted for and reconciled• Monitoring and optimizing Provider Guarantee's Teradata databases• Cross Functional support of internal business partners through ad hoc projects and analyses• Analyzing current processes and identify areas of improvementQualifications• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, or statistics)• 3 – 5 years of business experience in analysis, modeling, pricing and/or data management• Experience with all MS Office applications• 1-3 years of data warehouse and/or coding experience preferred (Python, C++, SQL, R)• Experience with data tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI preferred• Thorough knowledge of PBM business model preferred• Analytical, highly organized, able to work with little supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Capability to prepare and present concepts and proposals to all levels of managementAbout the DepartmentIf your niche is in financial reporting, data analysis, underwriting, cash management, or audit support our department may be a perfect fit for you.
