Job Summary: Planhat is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as the quarterback for customer data inside our platform. This role is highly consultative and deeply technical, requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to architect scalable solutions for customers. The ideal candidate has experience working with CRMs, data lakes, customer support tools, and BI tools, and can seamlessly bridge technical execution with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technical resource for customers, managing data integration, mapping, and system architecture throughout implementation and beyond.
Set up and optimize integrations, including custom configurations beyond native capabilities.
Analyze and break down customer data, building time-series metrics and formula fields that roll up to objects.
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer success, and product, to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing success.
Provide strategic technical guidance, helping customers maximize the value of Planhat for their business needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements based on customer feedback.
Function as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers view Planhat’s TAMs as highly skilled experts in the space.
Required Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience across technical and customer-facing roles, including TAM, product management, implementation, or related fields.
Strong expertise in Salesforce, HubSpot, Snowflake, BigQuery, JIRA, ZenDesk, Zapier, Intercom, Pendo, or similar business tools.
Hands-on experience with data architecture, integration, and automation.
Experience working in or leading product teams, with a focus on business tools, CRMs, or data-driven applications.
Strong consultative approach with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable operating in a customer-facing role.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
Familiarity with JavaScript or scripting languages for automation.
Prior experience as a Salesforce or HubSpot Admin.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for optimization and efficiency.
