Location: Lakeside City, TXSalary: $60,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD AnnuallyDescriptionJob Summary:Oversee the procurement of all inventory, supplies, and capital goods for the company. This includes negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and credit terms. Evaluate vendors to determine the most cost-effective inventory and reorder levels.Key Responsibilities• Efficiently purchase inventory, supplies, and capital equipment.• Verify and authorize purchase requisitions; source new vendors as needed.• Prepare and issue purchase orders; negotiate prices, delivery, and credit terms in line with company policies.• Maintain accurate purchasing records.• Evaluate and select vendors based on capabilities, performance, and quality assurance.• Maintain good working relationships with vendors and keep accurate vendor records.• Assess inventory reorder levels and quantity price breaks to ensure economical purchasing.• Prepare monthly reports and review purchasing commitments forecasts.• Coordinate with the Production Scheduler to ensure timely delivery of purchased items for uninterrupted manufacturing flow.• Engage in global sourcing and vendor assessment.• Participate in quality assurance processes and provide related reports.• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.• Maintain confidentiality of company information.Organizational RelationshipsReport to the Plant Manager.
