Software Engineer Full Stack
The New York Times is looking for a full stack developer to join the Messaging UI team within the Messaging Platforms group. The role involves contributing to extending CMS and administrative consoles, collaborating with a diverse team, and maintaining multiple messaging platforms.
Skills
- Proficiency in back-end languages (Go preferred) and SQL
- Experience with modern frontend web fundamentals
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React
- Experience with JS build tooling
- Experience building, operating, and monitoring web systems in GCP or AWS
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle of products
- Work within a collaborative team to design and build front-end capabilities
- Participate in modernizing and expanding front-end tools
- Develop REST APIs inside a Go codebase
- Collaborate with other engineering teams across the organization
- Maintain code quality through tests and analysis
- Contribute to reaching 17+ million subscribers by 2027
