Staff Design Technologist (iOS, Android), Subscriber Experience
The New York Times is looking for an experienced design technologist to help shape the future of The New York Times app experience.
Skills
- Experience with modern iOS (SwiftUI) or Android (Jetpack Compose) user interface frameworks
- Ability to create realistic user scenarios in prototypes
- Portfolio showcasing user-centered design principles and design process
Responsibilities
- Develop working prototypes to explore new features, content strategies, and interaction models
- Facilitate decision-making and discussions by creating tangible artifacts that bring UX solutions to life
- Partner with designers and researchers to uncover user challenges and inform UX decisions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and guidelines
