The Manager, Strategic Planning is a critical role on the Inbound Supply Chain Strategy team at TRR. This role will oversee the in-season S&OP functions critical to deliver a best in-class experience for TRR consignors and customers. In this role, they will work closely with Inbound Operations leaders across Receiving, Photography, and Authentication to monitor daily throughput to hit SLA, Unit Economic (UE), and Upload to Site goals.

What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Directly manage Operations Associate Analyst and/or similar roles
  • Develop and manage daily/ weekly workforce management forecasts, incorporating up-to-date business fluctuations, recruiting strategy, and warehouse dynamics.
  • Clear communication of strategy and necessary adjustments, where relevant, to sustain stable operations and deliver against operational KPIs
  • Support strategy development across shift, team structure, or other evolutions of the Operating model
  • Design & deliver weekly performance reporting that can be used to feedback into forecasts & highlight areas for improvement; ongoing KPI dashboard maintenance 
  • Maintain headcount forecast tools, ensuring driver assumptions are regularly challenged & that they reflect service level standards
  • Proactively identify & quantify opportunities to drive service &/or efficiency improvements
  • Deliver regular forecast updates to drive recruitment strategies & support financial forecasting processes
  • Deliver Individual performance reporting and ad hoc analysis to support Operations Managers,
  • Quickly build strong relationships with Operations leadership, People & Recruiting, Finance, and Business Systems Analytics (BSA) teams

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of analytical or financial modeling experience in an operational setting (e-commerce or retail preferred), managing specific KPIs with accountability for execution
  • High competence in data analysis and generating sophisticated scenario models and reporting tools
  • High level of business acumen & a proactive working style 
  • Confident and efficient communicator
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, comfortability with Google Sheets
  • Understanding of Google Apps Script for Data Mining
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) 

Preferred Requirements

  • 2+ years of managerial experience  
  • Looker proficiency

The expected salary range for this role is $98,532.00 - $125,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
