About The Role
As a Senior User Experience (UX/UI) Design Lead, you will be a design leader on our team of designers and researchers that empathize with and advocate for our internal users and external customers, connect insights to design strategy, and create new digital interactions and experiences across our web and mobile platforms. This role will focus primarily on the design of proprietary “professional tools” to enable our Sales organization and Vendor partners.Our designers participate in all parts of the design process, from fielding qualitative research, to shaping strategy, to generating divergent options, prototyping, and iterating based on user and stakeholder feedback. As a senior member of the team, we expect you to take this a step further and drive the end-to-end design process. This starts with crafting the right brief in partnership with product, engineering, and stakeholders and goes all the way to handing off pixel perfect screens for testing and iteration post production.We’re looking for curious people who are divergent thinkers and confident collaborators. You will seek to understand the why behind what our customers think, say, feel, and do to get inspired, and you will take the initiative to explore and visualize what this could mean for our product. You’ll work with partners and stakeholders from across the company, telling the real stories behind your work to drive consensus, ship meaningful products, and amplify the role of human-centered design within the company.• * This position can be remote in one of our U.S. eligible states or based in our San Francisco, CA Office **• States Not Eligible: AK, AR, DE, KS, MS, ND, SD, WYWhat You Get To Do Everyday• Drive end-to-end product and feature design for your squad• Design and field customer research to gain empathy for their unmet needs, desires, and aspirations (current and future)• Uncover insights and develop strategy (e.g. segmentation, personas, and insights; customer journey map; strategy and frameworks; design principles)• Draw interfaces and make prototypes that connect to customer insights (from pen and paper to interactive prototypes)• Share your work with customers and within the company to get feedback, learn, and iterate• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to bring your work to market• Build tools and methods that will help us continue to create new products and features (e.g. developing our design system, our customer research panel, etc.)What You Bring To The RoleOur team values diverse individual experiences. Other ways of describing yourself may include Digital Product Designer, UI Designer, Systems Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer, or Visual Designer. Or maybe you didn’t call yourself any of these! Here are the experiences and skills we’re looking for:• 7+ years of experience in UX Design, UI Design, Systems design, Interaction Design, Product Design or similar• Experience with human-centered design process, starting with user insights, ideating, prototyping, and iterating based on user feedback• Interaction design where you’ve made things that are discoverable, comfortable, and give good feedback. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package.
