Safety Coordinator ** 3rd shift **

Join our team as the 3rd Shift Safety Coordinator and become the trustee of safety at our manufacturing facility! In this role, you'll be behind creating and implementing safety protocols, policies, and training programs that keep our team safe and our operations smooth. Identify potential hazards, evaluate and refine safety procedures, and champion a culture where safety comes first. With your sharp eye for detail and passion for protection, you’ll help us minimize workplace incidents while staying ahead of OSHA and regulatory requirements. 

Compensation Range: $19.00-$21.00 Shift Differential included in addition of the compensation range

What Does the 3rd Shift Safety Coordinator Do? During the 3rd shift, your mission will be keep everyone safe, sound, and accident-free. Here’s how you’ll play superhero in steel-toed boots:

Master of Compliance:

• Patrol the workplace by conducting audits and safety walk-throughs to ensure everything meets to expectations.
• Catch unsafe work habits during employee observations and help turn them into safer practices.
• Lead safety and health inspections like a pro, spotting hazards before they become problems.

Safety Trainer Extraordinaire:

• Create and deliver engaging training sessions on how to stay safe, handle equipment, and respond to emergencies.
• Give new hires a crash course in safety with onboarding orientations and keep veterans sharp with refresher courses.
• Adapt and update training programs to keep everyone in the loop when equipment or policies change.

Accident Investigator Extraordinaire:

• Be the first responder to workplace accidents, near-misses, or incidents investigating root causes.
• Document every detail with precision, maintaining spotless records of incidents, inspections, and corrective actions.

Hazard Hunter:

• Scan the work environment to uncover lurking dangers or risky behaviors.
• Work hand-in-hand with employees and management
• Team up with management and employees to eliminate risks and implement safety enhancements.

To truly excel in this role, the ideal candidate should bring a dynamic mix of skills, expertise, and personality to the table. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards 
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to analyze data and incidents to drive improvements.
• Training Facilitator
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
• Should be able to lead safety committee or sub
• Computer Literate
• First Aid/CPR Certified
• Bilingual preferred 

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Two years of related experience in Safety role.
