As Marketing & New Business Manager, you will be expected to utilise your previous experience and demonstrate an appetite to get stuck in and contribute to fast-paced day to day marketing and new business. You will be expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills internally and when liaising with potential clients and other third parties. You will use your initiative to project manage new business as well as problem solve to turn tasks around quickly and to a high standard.

WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO 

Working at Bountiful Cow is fast paced and varied. Although day to day work will vary, we’ll expect you to carry out some key responsibilities.  

Clients are our business and new business fuels our growth. We relish working with new brands, emerging companies and established businesses that will benefit from the brilliant work Bountiful Cow offers.  

As a Marketing & New Business Manager you will lead the charge, putting the team into winning pitch positions and on the industry map. You’ll work alongside the strategic lead to support the smooth running of our new business and marketing output.  

Your key responsibilities are:  

  • Co-ordinate and run new business pitches, project managing from end to end, coordinating the team internally and providing regular status updates 
  • Develop engaging marketing material for Bountiful Cow including content management for social channels (LinkedIn etc.), drafting awards entries, updating internal magazines, ensuring the website is kept up-to-date 
  • Be the voice of the agency, live and breathe the three principles and embed these into content internal and external  
  • Originate, write and publish posts that make the agency stand out  
  • Liaise with internal designers to ensure all copy is engaging and within brand guidelines  
  • Regularly update databases internally and externally  
  • Source and collate data for RFIs and additional information required for pitch processes accurately and on time 
  • Liaise with PR lead on potential opportunities for engagement  
  • Develop agency credentials, case studies, award entries and new business materials   

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  • Demonstrable experience in either a marketing and/or new business role 
  • Experience within the media industry is preferable but not essential, an ability to adapt to the industry, learn and grow is an important requirement  
  • Outstanding writing skills and a creative mind to challenge the status quo and drive the agency forward  
  • Impeccable project management skills and experience, be a self-starter and lead the team  
  • Strong time management and attention to detail  
  • An ability to build strong relationships within the agency and with third parties quickly will be key  
  • Keep calm under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines
