Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Sales Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to craft and deliver world-class educational programs for our sales teams, ensuring maximum effectiveness and flawless execution. You will work closely with our sales team to identify challenges they face on-the-job and recommend innovative ways to increase efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact the overall performance of our sales teams and help them achieve ambitious goals.Responsibilities:• Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement• Design and develop comprehensive training curriculum within time and budget constraints• Produce engaging and interactive physical and digital educational materials, including videos, e-learning modules, and case studies• Support leaders and new colleagues through a multiphase, rapid onboarding training process• Obtain trainer certifications to deliver intermediate and advanced sales courses• Collect feedback from trainees and managers to continuously improve training programs• Report on the impact of training programs, such as time to first sale• Collaborate with external trainers and industry professionals to organize seminars and workshops• Deliver training at national and regional sales meetings• Establish and maintain strong relationships with functional area managers, DSMs, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance course contentLocation: There is one position that is posted in multiple locations. Position can be located anywhere in the upper 48 United States and live within 60 minutes of a major airport. Incumbent will travel up to 30% to the national sales meetings, Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA and Pittsburgh, PA.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare, Business, Management, Education, or Communications• 3+ years of sales experience in diagnostic, healthcare, and/or medical device sales desired• 5+ years of field and inside sales training experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks• Proven ability to drive organizational change and improve performance• Strong knowledge and application of adult learning theory, blended learning approaches, and evaluation methods• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in both in-person and virtual settings• Contagious enthusiasm and a passion for training and development• Strong coaching, mentoring, and motivational skills• Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Proficiency with sales methodologies• Additional certification in Miller Heiman sales methodology is a plusAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, we offer competitive remuneration, an annual incentive plan bonus, comprehensive healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
