In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging mobile experiences for our users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to design and implement user-centered mobile applications that align with our business goals and user needs.ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership: Lead the design process for mobile applications from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly designs.User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts. Analyze user feedback and metrics to iterate on designs.Prototyping & Wireframing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure cohesive and aligned designs.Design System: Contribute to and maintain a design system that promotes consistency and scalability across mobile products.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.Trends & Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the user experience.Who We’re Looking For• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field- Required• Master’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science or related field- Preferred• 5+ years of experience in mobile design, preferably in a SaaS environment.3+ years of experience designing for SMB and/or B2C markets2+ years of experience working in an Agile workplace.• 9+ years of related experience, preferred.• Highly skilled in user interface design with the ability to produce clean, creative digital visuals that are consistent with the Thryv brand and strategy, articulating user experience concepts and solutions and advocates for customer-centric designs.• Solid understanding of mobile design principles and best practices for iOS and Android platforms.• Strong industry knowledge with an understanding of CX principles, personas, journey mapping, empathy mapping, and other UX processes.• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile application design projects, including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups, required.• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.• Working knowledge of Product Led Growth (PLG) principles.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.• Ability to work in a team environment, accepting direction and feedback.• Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.• Must be 18 years of age or older.• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.• Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.What We Offer• Life requires balance, so we provide benefits around health and wellness, continued education, and work/life balance to help you live your best life when you’re working…and when you’re not.• Work from anywhere – Thryv is a Remote First company!• Competitive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus a wellness program with added incentives• 401(k) savings plan with company match and employee stock purchase plan• Continuing education benefits with tuition assistance programs• One week of paid time off at the end of the year, in addition to our standard paid time off policy.Who We AreAt Thryv, we’re a team fiercely devoted to the success of local businesses.
