The Internal Auditor serves as a team member on complex audits, working under the direction of audit management and more senior auditors. Under moderate supervision, this job works on problems of diverse scope performing complex financial, operational and integrated audits of the company's operations using the organization's risk based internal auditing methodology.Key Responsibilities And Duties• Participates in activities such as the execution of detailed programs for audits, the review of financial, operational, compliance and risk systems, processes and procedures to determine efficiency, effectiveness and alignment with internal policies, procedures, regulations and industry standards.• Analyzes audit data and observations and documents audit conclusions and findings.• Prepares remediation plans and makes recommendations which are subject to review by audit management.• Reviews and evaluates control structures to determine the adequacy of internal controls, operating efficiency and customer service.• Performs tests of records and accounts and verifies compliance with regulations and sound business practices.• Utilizes Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of data analytics and other relevant tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Python) to perform effective and efficient audits.• Collaborates with and leverages data analytics and information technology specialists, as appropriate, to identify and implement advanced testing methods.Educational Requirements• University (Degree) PreferredWork Experience• 1+ years Required• 3+ years PreferredPhysical Requirements• Physical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level6ICRequired Experience• 1+ year of Audit, Risk, Compliance Accounting or Financial Reporting Experience RequiredPreferred Experience• 3+ years of Audit, Risk, Compliance Accounting or Financial Reporting Experience Preferred• CPA, CIA or CISA• Data Analytics experience• Strong communication skills both verbal and written• Strong organizational skills and attention to detailRelated SkillsAdaptability, Auditing, Audit Process Improvement, Communication, Critical Thinking, Data Analysis, Group Problem Solving, Relationship Management, Technology SystemsAnticipated Posting End Date2024-09-28Base Pay Range: $64,900/yr. - $98,500/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
