The University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for a Ticket Operations Assistant to work in the Athletic Ticket Office. This is a term-limited, 12-month position eligible for a 12-month extension (2 years maximum) based on performance and evaluation. The position will report to the Ticket Operations Unit Leader/Director.
This is an entry-level position for an individual interested in a career in ticket operations. Upon the conclusion of the term, you will have equipped yourself with the foundational knowledge, skills, networking and support necessary to pursue a full-time position.
This is a 40 hours per week position (not benefit eligible), paid at an hourly rate of $10.10 per hour. Housing provided during 12-month term. Some overtime may be needed. Some evening and weekend hours will be required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide customer support on the phone and ticket window during the week and on game days
- Main point of contact for Women’s Basketball game day tickets operations and overall season operations
- Assist with all Football, Men’s Basketball, and Baseball game day operations and overall season operation
- Assist with managing the student worker program in office and on game days
- Assist with other operational duties including but not limited to processing, printing, mailing, and distributing tickets, social media, ticket donation program.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Skill in the use of personal computer and related software
applications. Desire to pursue a career within intercollegiate athletics. Ability to communicate
effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to use independent judgement and to manage and
impart information. Must maintain NCAA compliance while in this role.
Additional Qualifications Considered
The individual in this position must be able to work some evening and weekend hours.
