TikTok Specialist

About the role:

The Newsette's creative agency, Newland, is looking for a content creator and strategist to be a TikTok Specialist. While our company HQ is in New York City, all employees are working remotely until further notice and being located in New York is not a requirement of this position.

What you'll do:

We're looking for a digitally native creator specializing in TikTok and social-first video to join our dynamic marketing team to work on some of the biggest social activations in the world on behalf of our clients. You will collaborate with our marketing team to build upon our incredible success on the platform, ideating, creating, and strategizing what success looks like for some of the biggest brands in the world on TikTok and other social-first platforms.

• Help lead comprehensive activations on TikTok and similar platforms, including ideation, media planning/strategy, talent identification, and production.
• Be a strategy leader for our team and clients on best practices and emerging trends on TikTok to help our clients achieve their marketing and business goals.
• Concept and create TikToks and other short-form videos for both our owned and operated channels and client activations.
• Assist in creative strategy, communication, and production of talent videos.
• Support the larger marketing team with data driven insights, combining insider platform knowledge with historical learnings to create actionable insights.
• Publish and discuss thought leadership on TikTok and viral video for internal and external teams.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience and success on TikTok and an overall love of the platform
• Deep knowledge of strategies to maximize engagement and scale
• Creative expertise in TikTok video production and editing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
• Interest in learning about the media and marketing side of social driven content
• Passionate about bringing inclusive and bold marketing strategies to life
