The Team

About the Role


We’re looking for a Product Marketing Intern to drive outbound marketing and identify new growth opportunities for Tinder’s Revenue products. This role will also include support as needed across other projects on the Product Marketing Team. 


At the intersection of marketing, brand, and product, you’ll manage go-to-market strategy for new and existing product features, and collaborate with global product, communications and marketing teams to drive app growth and feature adoption globally.


This is a perfect role for someone interested in being a part of a team of hands-on, fast-moving, data driven consumer tech marketers, who wants to build professional experience at the intersection of brand, business, and UX. We’re looking for someone with creative problem solving skills who can work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Comms, and Insights to help us scale storytelling for our Revenue pillar and elevate our in-app brand experience. You’ll get opportunities to collaborate directly with leaders at Tinder, as well as mentorship and support for your career development. This highly cross-functional role will report into the Product Marketing Lead of Revenue based in NY.

What you'll do:

  • Project manage priorities across the Revenue pillar and support the larger PMM team with timeline management to drive maximum impact. 
  • Develop CRM marketing strategies that drive feature adoption in the app and collaborate with the Engagement team to execute. This includes: Manage partnership with Creative (both in-house and agency) and Engagement teams across a suite of product marketing projects, bringing projects from brief to launch. Grow product adoption and user retention by driving CRM optimization tests and create net-new CRM opportunities for Revenue features. Prioritize messaging and positioning that address user needs, pain points, and objections, as well as inspire them to take action.  Think creatively and get our users excited about Tinder via CRM channels
  • Conduct external case studies to help identify new opportunities for Tinder’s best-in-class brand and product marketing
  • Think creatively and find opportunities to integrate the Tinder brand into relevant cultural moments
  • Own internal communication of product marketing initiatives and succinctly recap campaign performance and learnings, including recommendations for next steps
  • Help support and execute Global go-to-market strategy to drive feature adoption for the Revenue Pillar. GTM responsibilities include: Collaborate closely with Product Marketing Lead, Brand, Product, and Creative teams to help craft product positioning and messaging that will resonate with our audiences and differentiate our revenue products in the market. Create global product marketing assets in partnership with Creative, that reflect the needs of multiple regions across the world
  • Be a cross-functional collaborator during our annual Tindership Hackathon where you’ll partner closely with interns from other parts of the business to build out exciting new product ideas
  • Act as an influential voice of Gen Z and come to the table with creative recommendations

What we're looking for:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program pursuing a BS/BA, with a graduation date no earlier than December 2024
  • Strong project and time management abilities to plan and execute complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to express high-level concepts efficiently and optimally to our member base and partners internally and externally
  • Interest in delivering well-branded, delightful consumer experiences and marketing strategies that drive business growth
  • Passion for the consumer, able to advocate for consumer needs 
  • Highly collaborative and creative. Capable of working across cross-functional teams (especially product, marketing, and creative teams) to produce innovative solutions.
  • Positive energy and excitement for Tinder and knowledge of our feature set

Nice to have:

  • Experience partnering with Product, CRM, and Comms teams to deepen product understanding and retention among users
  • Versed in the dating app competitive landscape

$30 - $30 an hour

Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Los Angeles. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
