Principal Product Manager- Enterprise

This role is remote, must be located in EST/CST timezone, or hybrid if based in Boston or a Toast office.

As an Enterprise Product Manager, you will work with engineering, design and cross-functional teams dedicated to solving mission-critical technology challenges for Toast’s largest and most complex customers. You will deliver customer value by ensuring the platform works in ways that make our customers be successful each and every day. You will lead engagements with external business partners, technology teams and integration teams as well as work with Toast’s own Enterprise R&D team. In this role, you will drive the roadmap and delivery of strategic features, integrations and platform offerings that unlock both near term and long term business value.   

About this roll*:

  • Drive near-term roadmap of features aimed at supporting Toast’s Enterprise full-service customers 
  • Actively manage your teams’ backlogs through the creation, prioritization, and grooming of user stories in a fast paced agile environment
  • Monitor your teams’ process and system health metrics to ensure optimal quality and velocity
  • Work with Toast’s Program Management Team to accurately and consistently update internal and external stakeholders on the progress of initiatives on the roadmap 
  • Work with the Technical Documentation and R&D Enablement teams to accurately communicate product updates to internal stakeholders, advocate for adoption and usage throughout Toast’s FSR customer base  
  • Develop and maintain a long-term strategic roadmap to continuously improve Toast’s product market fit for full-service enterprise customers 
  • Collaborate, advocate and evangelize product capabilities and customer needs across the broader Toast R&D organization 
  • Partner closely with go-to-market teams including Solutions, Sales, Product & Customer Marketing and others in service of your strategic vision. 

Do you have the right ingredients*?

  • Prior experience working within software development life cycle stages from ideation through customer delivery
  • Experience driving cross-team initiatives and building interpersonal relationships with a range of personalities 
  • Strong program management and communication skills; detail oriented and will a bias towards action 
  • Experience with Enterprise software development, requirements writing and process 
  • A proven track record of success working directly with customers, external development teams and partners to deliver value and ensure alignment across different parts the business 
  • 5+ years product management experience at a senior level 
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and problem solve using creativity and strong analytical skills

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
